Hello!

So, inside this download you'll find my Circles rainmeter skin and theme. I freely admit I haven't originally created this. Circles is a cobbled together, and edited version of, other people's work. The credits for these are:

Implosion by Gordanj [link]

Winamp Circles by Gerguter [link]
[edited by me]

Binary Clock v2 by helkin86 [link]

xclock skin rainmeter by Burnwell88 [link]

dark_gear by farisinsua [link]
[edited by me]

Light by kmmitul [link]
[edited by me]

The wallpaper came from [link]
I know it's got the Ubuntu logo on it, but I thought it fit the design nicely :)

To Install:

Copy all of the contents of the Skins folder into your Rainmeter folder, usually something like: C:\Users\[user name]\
My Documents\Rainmeter\Skins

OR

Move the Circles.thm file to your appdata folder, usually something like: C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Themes

After Install:

To make the "Documents, Downloads, Pictures, Music, Videos" launcher work, you'll have to right-click, choose "Edit Skin", and change the directory path to what's correct for your own computer.

If you have problems, leave a message on deviantArt, and I'll try and do my best to help you.

Enjoy!

~PaperDoll117

P.S. I had someone get a bit irate for not crediting their work. When I download skins from people, I don't know if they're properly crediting or not. So, sorry if I've left anyone out. If I have, please let me know.

*After an edit, I've had problems with the rmskin for this, so I removed it. Will keep working on it, and try to put it back up.

Soooo.. I've used the stat skin before. Love it... want to use it... Anyone figure out how to get the weather to work? I see its not working in most previews (like above) is accu-weather not working with weathercodes anymore? Anyone know how to put another weather feed into this?

Thanks for your work on this theme :)

Wow ok. It's been ages since I made or used this. (I have windows 8.1 now.) I can't really remember the weather thing, but I'm fairly sure I got it working in the end by finding the right code. I can't remember where I got the code though... It might have been Yahoo weather.

Hi, I'm sorry if this sounds silly. I've only just heard of rainmeter and started looking around and found this!! It's soooo goooddd!!! As for my silly question: where's the Cirlcles.thm file?

:iconthemooncriedout:
TheMoonCriedOut Featured By Owner May 28, 2013  Hobbyist Photographer
It's actually inside the Circles Thm Folder. In there is a folder called Circles, and inside there is the .thm file. So, move the Circles folder to your appdata folder, usually something like: C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Roaming\Rainmeter\Themes

This is pretty awesome, and I'm using this right now! I've been searching everywhere for the icon set however, as I'd like to add more in the Application Launcher. Where did you get those icons? I love how they look. ;D

The icons came from brsev's token icon set [link] however some of them i made myself, and some were made by others here on deviantart. :) Which ones were you looking for specifically? If I have any you need, you're welcome to them.

Oh wow, okay. That's pretty cool that you made them, I was looking into that, but was unsure how well I could make them look like the ones here.

I was wanting to add a Winamp, a Maya (Autodesk), and a zBrush (pixologic) mainly.

Thank you for replying! ;]

What do you mean by start menu? The only thing I can think you mean is the taskbar. If it's that, then I moved it to the top, and set it to autohide. So, it's not really gone. It comes back when I move the cursor to the top edge. If it's not that you meant, then please correct me. :)

And I'll send you a private message about how to read the clock. That explanation is a bit involved. :)

Glad you like the skin anyway!

oh...well i thought it'd be something more complex involving the taskbar..:P And glad for the info on the binary clock!!

I'm not sure what you mean by windows skin... This is a rainmeter skin. You need to download rainmeter from [link] and then install it. It uses a standard install .exe. You can then apply rainmeter skins like this one.

It should just work. Open winamp, choose your music. Then the rainmeter app should start to work. Let me know if you need more help.

Hmmm... Well, I'm not sure. I myself haven't ever had problems with it. I suggest making sure you have the latest version of Winamp and Rainmeter.
You could try re-dowloading Circles, remembering to delete the old skin from both your \My Documents\Rainmeter\Skins folder and also your appdata folder before reinstalling.
If the problem persists, try downloading the original design from Gerguter's page [link] The version in my design is edited however not to include the blue circle. Try using it though. If it works, it may mean a problem with my design.
Let me know if any of this helps you. :)

well, i'm not sure what to suggest then.... i'm very sorry. the only thing i can think of is downloading the original design. It's called Implosion and i got it from here [link]

Try installing that. If it works then I know it's a problem with my skin. If it doesn't, then the problem will be with the original design, or on your end.

Oh and also, make sure you have the latest version of Rainmeter. I'm not sure what else to suggest.

I'd like to hear has anyone else had this problem?
